Correct Interpretation of a Good Business Strategy

Any organization tries corporate strategy as its tool, to achieve its goal and keeps its success story in good going. Some of them succeed, but many do not. This is what happens in the corporate world for several years. Though the picture shows some signs of improvement, the reality needs more refinement in terms of management transition. It means that corporate credit concepts have not taken deep roots.

Why most of the strategies did not take off, needs to be analyzed. The very word strategy could not be understood by many managers in the unsuccessful corporations. They very much find it difficult to get a clear definition or proper interpretation for the word strategy.  

The Greek word strategic is a military term meaning deployment of available resources to win a battle. The usage has been applied in corporate world, as they also have a field where in they want to win a war for survival in a competitive atmosphere. Managers these days have the only notion to win their competitor by means of serving the market with goods or services of better quality when compared to the other. Organizations also support their managers in this aspect. This happens to be a temporary win over their rivals. There lies no long term real strategy. This will not allow the sustainability in the success. Small time winning achieved now and again cannot be considered to be a continuous success story. The long term elements of strategy via, mission and objectives will be lost in thin air. Such corporations totally forget about the corporate credit concepts.

Corporate must device specific goals and derive strategies to achieve them as like in a war. People may have an initial enthusiasm to accomplish their task. A sudden initial success creates retardation in their efforts and the momentum is lost. Some times they rest content with themselves with the temporary success thinking that they have reached the target. A Strategy never ends at the target.
